Year 6 memories 2011

Hi my name is Nadia and i have been at Riverdale for six years.Over the years there has been some funny mommants like Mr Bron farting in class and reading adveture books in diffrent vocies, I have learnt how to make and look after friends. One of my memories is learning how to oporate a bisiness in quiddage, FEARWELL RIVERDALE!!!!!!

Dare Fun Day

WALT: write a dascriptive recount about dare fun day.

At last it was friday. The dare fun day that the police had organised for all our effort that we put in our unfolding storys. First we went and played action indoor sports - netball, hokey and soccer. Then we came back to school to watch a movie which was hop.
For lunch we went to the esplanade,after lunch we had 10 minutes play.Then it was time to go to the lido,Mr Bron said we could walk to the lido It was a really hot day. At last we made it to the lido yepee time to swim.My friends and Iquickly walked to the changing rooms and put on our togs.I hoped into the pool ahh nice and cool.

My snow poem

I ran outside watching the snow fall.
I gathered some snow to make a ball.

My fingers are cold from touching all the ice.
Snow flakes are small, just like my mice.

The snow is fun to play in.
Just like playing in the pool.
Snow is cold.
But to cool for school.

Term 3 Goals

School goal:To get 50/50 in my math test.To get a better report ,and not to fight with my best friends at lunch so we can have more time to play with each other.

Home goal:To help around the house.

Wonder Land

I woke up in this strange land .I saw a big , fat, hairy talking pig walking down the road. I asked
him "where am I" I said why,you are in wonder land. OK that's weird ,last night I was in bed, now I end up here. What is your name? I am Hamilton Franky.May I ask what your name is? I'm Nadia ,you have a nice name you to Hamilton,why thank you.Can you tell me how to get back holly wood? HOLLY WOOD!!!!!! wow your a far way from Holly wood. How far is it ?Its on the other side of the planet.ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE PLANET!!!!!!! Is there a way for me to get back home? Well there is one way,what is it? To get there you have to play video games. What sort video games? Riding a horse. Awesome I love riding horses.How much score do I need to get? You need to get 1 million points. How many levels are there? 16 levels till game over. How do I get the points? Collect the smile faces . How much are they worth? 1,000 points. OK lets go

How to fly a kite

W.A.L.T:Short and long sentences,using a vorlety of conjuctions

Kites have light material to help them glide.When the wind stars blowing the kite begins to fly,Start running to get the kite into the air,while holding no to the handle at the bottom with the sting attach, don't wait to long other wise the wind will be gone which you don't want happening .This is the fun part you lie on the down ground and watch the kite fly in the air above you.

Best activity

climbing the rocks to see the caves.It was scary because the cliffs were so high.My challenge was to try not to fall.That was my first time climbing the rocks.I learnt that seals can be dangerous because Mr mcallum.

Best game

My best game was run away spud.I was tired of running to the hoses and back.It was quite new to me for the first time ever.I learnt from this you have to be quiet.

hearst challenge

The hardest challenge was fitness because we had to jog ,push up position,star jumps and sit ups.I was so puffed doing all that stuff.I learnt it sounds easy but it isn't .

biggest risk

climbing the light house because there was only one rail so it was very scary.It was tiring because the parth was so long.For the first time I set foot on the parth it was scary at first but you got use to itthat light house has been around years and years.

funnist/best moment

The funnist moment was when mr mcallum was pushed in to the sea he was soaked.It was so funny.It was his first time getting wet.That mr mcallum likes to be dry.
